Trey Bell

A meditation practitioner for nearly a decade and over 15 years in the mental health field. Trey’s journey into the world of mindfulness, psychotherapy, somatics, and inner growth began as a child in rural Delaware, where team sports captivated the community. Participating in these sports introduced him to concepts like pushing physical limits and discipline. It also allowed him to express himself in the arts of flow, movement, and presence. This early shaping led to curiosity about authenticity, psychospirituality, and inner growth.
In his pursuit of flow and presence, Trey expanded out into nature based sports such as rock climbing, surfing, and trail running. These became ways to connect with the moment and the outdoors. Failure and a beginner’s mindset were prominent tools for self-growth during this time of his life.
Coupling these activities with work in the mental health field deepened his inner journey and work with others. Trey’s interest in the psychospiritual components of self led him to developing a regular meditation practice and becoming trained in the art of mindfulness and meditation. He completed a two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program under the tutelage of Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach and many other iconic mindfulness teachers. Trey is also a Certified Somatic Anxiety Therapist via The Embody Lab and the likes of Dr. Scott Lyons, Deb Dana, Peter Levine, Arielle Schwartz, Anna Ferguson, and Kai Cheng Thom.
This blend of backgrounds in clinical, crisis, and wilderness therapy combined with the teachings of mindfulness meditation and outdoor expeditions, allow Trey to offer participants a well-rounded, integrated experience of growth tailored to their needs, whether in clinical, nature, retreat or speaking settings.
